Asher exhaled slowly, relief washing over him. “Well, I suppose I shouldn’t have snooped like that. But when I saw the things you were looking up, I couldn’t help but feel a connection to your struggles.” Asher confessed, his voice tinged with sincerity. “It made me realize how much we’ve both been going through this whole time without knowing.”
Kyle nodded, understanding Asher’s sentiments. “That’s true. We’ve both been trying to make sense of our own feelings, albeit separately.”
As the morning sun crept further along the windowpane, they spoke candidly about their newfound desires and fears. With their hearts pounding and palms sweaty, Kyle and Asher made their way upstairs to their parents’ bedroom. The ornate chandelier cast flickering shadows across the walls, making the room seem even more mysterious and alluring.
