Written and directed by Brazilian filmmaker Daniel Nolasco, PEDRO HAD A HORSE tells us the touching story of an emperor who has a strong attraction to his own sex, which unleashes a series of uncontrollable events. Passion, searing jealousy, romance, and drama – the film moves along the edge of the emotions of the characters played by Guilherme Théo, Harry Lins, Conrado Helt, Renata Carvalho, Alexandre Mitre, Daniel Manhães, and Geovaldo Souza.
In addition to being alternative and worth every second of viewing, the film has already received well-deserved recognition at several international competitions, winning Best Screenplay at the Brazilian Short Film Competition along with Best Acting at the Jury Critic Award International Short Film Competition.
