Isaac Saunders (Mason Lear) is experiencing a life upheaval. His wife informs him that she knows about his bisexuality, and although she is tolerant, she cannot accept her relationship with Isaac, which is why she will leave him. Isaac is broken, lonely and sad, so he calls the person he respects the most, his stepbrother Conan Chase (Beau Butler).
Conan is worried because he knows Isaac has a penchant for depression and wastes no time. He decides to temporarily live with his stepbrother, even if it means going to Klamvil — a town that is now experiencing a spike in crime. When Conan arrives, he spends long days and nights with Isaac trying to comfort and reassure him. This emotional closeness gradually grows into a strong mutual attraction, which leads the two men to take the next step — to spend a romantic evening in the bedroom.
