Corey Carter (Gabe Bradshaw) grew up in a highly religious environment, in a family with an extremely conservative understanding of life, where he was taught that sex is forbidden in any case other than within marriage. As Cory grows older, he begins to realize that he likes men. He knew that he was gay, and he knew that things would be different for him, but in his understanding of life, he was no different and in fact was even more conservative than his parents.
Corey wanted to uphold the same ideals he had been taught. When he faced a reality where gay men have no stereotypes and prejudices and their sexual communication is easy, he realized that he is unlikely to find the man who will wait for the first wedding night. Lucky for Cory, he found Sean Watt (Chris Damned), a patient, loving man who was willing to wait. Was Corey ready to wait any longer?
