Calvin Banks and Jayden Marcos star in Disruptive Films’ new movie, Marriage Material, in which love conquers illusions. And Jayden’s parents have many illusions about their son, who continues to live alone even though it is time for him to get married. They are so obsessed with Jayden that they keep coming up with stupid reasons why he isn’t married yet.
One morning, Jayden Marcos gets a call from his mother, who tells him that she and his father have come to the conclusion that the reason he’s still single is that he can’t handle simple household chores like cooking. She informs him that they have hired a special person to teach him how to cook so well that he will charm any woman with his culinary skills. Before he can shake off another form of concern, Calvin Banks shows up outside Jayden’s house.
Calvin is an experienced chef who will turn Jayden into a real culinary tornado. This is not an easy task. Jayden really can’t cook and even cutting a pepper is a tough challenge for him. But that’s Calvin’s job, and he’s there to handle the situation.
The thing is, Jayden Marcos is handsome and so is Calvin Banks, and they don’t seem indifferent to each other. Pretty soon it will turn out that Jayden’s parents’ illusions about his marriage will be shattered because he will probably prefer a husband to a wife. And he won’t need to learn how to cook, because Calvin is good enough at it that he doesn’t need help. Will Calvin and Jayden cross the line? Will something happen between them? Let’s see.
