In Not In His House, the directors of Disruptive Films recreate the story of two stepbrothers, Johnny Ford & Ben Masters, and its dramatic denouement. It all started 30 years ago with the birth of Rohan Sullivan (played by Johnny Ford). As a result of the birth, Rohan’s mother is unable to have any more children and this affects the family badly.
However, they find a way to move on, adopting Avery Duncan (played by Ben Masters). Unfortunately, shortly after turning 18, Avery is kicked out of the Sullivan house for being gay – something the religious family cannot tolerate.
Ten years later, Avery receives an unexpected call from his stepbrother Rohan, who invites him to his home to discuss what really happened and find a way to be a family again. Avery knows he shouldn’t go to Sullivan’s house because he’ll get hurt again, but he does it anyway.
But Avery has no idea how bad Rohan really is. He takes pleasure in the mental suffering of others and has no qualms about making people suffer. Is the spontaneous sexual fling in which they meet for the first time in 10 years really spontaneous? Or Rohan wants to emotionally traumatize his stepbrother again?!
