BelAmi Brings Back a Gay Porn Legend: Rhyheim Shabazz Stars in An American in Prague
Some stories never fade. Some legends refuse to be forgotten. And when BelAmi announces the return of An American in Prague, one of the most beloved franchises in gay adult entertainment, it’s not just a revival. It’s a rebirth.
On November 19, 2026, BelAmi will premiere Rhyheim Is An American in Prague, a bold new chapter starring Rhyheim Shabazz, the international superstar whose charisma, raw talent, and undeniable screen presence have made him one of the most sought-after performers in the industry. Filmed against the breathtaking backdrop of Prague, BelAmi’s iconic hometown, this new installment promises all the romance, adventure, and unforgettable encounters that made the original a cultural phenomenon.
For Rhyheim, even megastars need a break. While unwinding in Brazil, he stumbles upon BelAmi Tours, and just like that, the sun-soaked beaches of South America are traded for the fairytale streets of Prague. Upon arrival, he’s greeted by Hugo Carter, his BelAmi tour guide, who sets the stage for an adventure that will take Rhyheim through the city’s most enchanting corners, and into the arms of some of BelAmi’s finest.
A Franchise That Defined an Era
Since its debut in 1997, An American in Prague has stood as a pillar of gay adult cinema. The original film, starring Johan Paulik as the enigmatic local who introduces an American traveler (Chance) to the magic of Prague, became an instant classic, blending eroticism, romance, and the city’s stunning architecture into a visual masterpiece. Its success spawned multiple remakes, including the 2013 hit starring Mick Lovell and the 2018 award-winning Blake Mitchell Is An American in Prague, proving that the franchise’s appeal is timeless.
Now, nearly 30 years after the original, BelAmi is giving fans a chance to relive the magic and introducing a new generation to the film that started it all.
The Original, Remastered: A Streaming Event Like No Other
In celebration of Rhyheim’s new film, BelAmi is remastering the original An American in Prague in stunning HD, a first for the legendary title.
